We have listed here our responses to some of the most common questions that people ask us.

Can you cater for special diets?

We do have a number of recipes which cater for specific dietary requirements. Why not give us a call or send us an enquiry and we can discuss things further.

Are your cakes nut free?

The cakes themselves do not contain nuts, unless by special request of course. However, they are prepared in a kitchen where from time to time nuts may be used, so we can’t guarantee that they are entirely nut free.

Are the cakes suitable for vegetarians?

Yes! Our cakes meet the Vegetarian Society Approved criteria, although we are not formally approved.

How long do the cakes stay fresh?

We bake all of our cakes to order, using a recipe that creates a really moist sponge, so they keep well. However, we do not use any artificial preservatives so they keep for the same amount of time you would expect any traditional home cooked cake to keep. We recommend storing them in an air-tight container to keep them delicious for up to 3 days after delivery.

Can I freeze the cakes?

No. We would not recommend that you freeze our cakes as we use a variety of toppings and decorations which may not be suitable for freezing and their quality will alter when defrosted.

How are the cakes delivered?

We do everything possible to make sure that our cupcakes arrive at your door as perfect as when they leave our kitchen. Each cupcake is placed in a beautiful tulip case, not only do these look fantastic, they also provide extra protection whilst they are on their way to you. We use specially designed cupcake mail boxes (I know! Who would have thought they existed!) which have inserts to hold each cake in place.

Whilst we may use a third party delivery company for our deliveries, we have chosen them specifically because we know that we can entrust our products to them.

Which days do you deliver on?

Cakes can be collected from our kitchen at your convenience! Online orders for delivery can be delivered Monday to Friday; bespoke cake orders can be delivered on any day by prior arrangement.

How far in advance do I need to place my order?

Because we like to take the time to ensure that your cupcakes are just perfect, we ask that orders be placed at least 3 days before your selected delivery date. But, please do contact us if you have an urgent order, we’ll always do our best to help!

The minimum notice for any bespoke orders will vary depending upon design and delivery location, we like to have 2 weeks to really ensure that your cakes surpass your expectations, and please give us as much notice as possible on large orders!

I have a specific flavour in mind, can you make it?

Yes, um within reason! We will do our best to develop your preferred cupcake flavour. Give us a call or send an enquiry; we love a challenge!

We are really flexible with our bespoke service and we feel confident that we can meet pretty much any requirements. Get in touch to discuss things further.

Where do you deliver to and how much does it cost?

Free collection

You can collect your order direct from kitchen (please do give us a call to arrange a time).

Delivery charges for online orders

If your delivery address is within 10 miles of GL2 we will deliver to you at a cost of £5.00.

We also deliver to the following postcodes at a cost of £12.00.

All GL postcodes, BS1, BS10, BS11, BS16, BS2, BS3, BS30, BS32, BS34, BS36, BS4, BS5, BS6, BS7, BS8, BS9, BS99, BS35, BS37, HR8, HR9, NP25, WR13, WR14.
